Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin (born April 15th, 1977) is an American writer, director, comedian and podcaster. She is also a vocal advocate for mental health. Her previous job with BuzzFeed Video was that of a writer. However, in 2015 she resigned to join fellow writer Gabe Dunn on their Just Between Us comedy YouTube Channel. Raskin was born June 20th, 1989, on the 20th of June in Manhattan, New York, to a Jewish family of Jewish descent. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California. Jamin Ben Raskin (born 13 December 1962) is a prominent American attorney law professor as well as a politician, serving as representative for the U.S. representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district as of 2017. The law professor was the chief prosecutor for the 2nd impeachment trial of Trump. Rep. Jamie Raskin is not running for Maryland Senate's vacant seat However, he plans to run within the House to continue his career as the chair of House Oversight and Accountability Committee. Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac as well as other wealthy suburbs in the Washington, D.C. area are included within the district. Rockville, Silver Spring and others from diverse communities are comprised. Maryland is one of the thirteen original states of America.
